For the most authentic crust, use a very hot oven stone and let the dough cold-ferment in the fridge for 24 hours. The flavor will be legendary!

Ingredients

  • 400g 00 flour
  • 250ml Warm water
  • 7g Dry yeast
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 200g Canned San Marzano tomatoes
  • 200g Fresh Mozzarella cheese
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • Extra virgin olive oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough: Mix flour, water, yeast, and salt. Knead for 10 minutes until smooth. Let it rise for 2 hours in a warm place.
  2. Pizza Base: Stretch the dough into a thin circle on a floured surface.
  3. Toppings: Spread crushed tomatoes evenly. Top with hand-torn mozzarella.
  4. Bake: Preheat oven to its highest setting (250°C+). Bake for 8-10 minutes until crust is golden.
  5. Finishing Touch: Add fresh basil and a drizzle of olive oil before serving.
