Premium Sushi Platter
🣠Rice Secret
The key to great sushi is the rice, not just the fish! Use premium short-grain rice and season it while warm for the best texture and vinegary balance.
Ingredients
- 2 cups Sushi Rice (Short grain)
- Sushi Vinegar (Rice vinegar, Sugar, Salt)
- Fresh Sashimi-grade Salmon and Tuna
- Nori Sheets
- Cucumber and Avocado (Sliced)
- Wasabi, Ginger, and Soy Sauce
Instructions
- Cook Rice: Wash and cook sushi rice. Season with sushi vinegar while cooling.
- Prepare Fish: Slice salmon and tuna into thin nigiri-style pieces.
- Roll Sushi (Maki): Place nori on a bamboo mat, spread rice, add cucumber and avocado. Roll tightly and slice.
- Shape Nigiri: Press a small amount of rice in your hand and top with a slice of fish.
- Plating: Arrange on a platter with ginger, wasabi, and a bowl of soy sauce.
